About Alleson
Alleson is a Registered Nurse whose professional career has included cardiac, surgical, and critical care nursing, bioethical consultative patient and family services, clinical management, and teaching. During her management tenure, her interest in complimentary medicine served to manifest a healing garden and enhance patient clinical services through the addition of therapeutic touch, guided imagery, and music therapy.
She has studied numerous healing modalities beginning initially as anUsui Reiki Master and then evolving into the art of Peruvian Shamanic and other complimentary healing practices. She is a graduate of the Wiracocha Institute Center for Spirit and Consciousness and is certified in the State of Washington as a minister, spiritual healer and earth steward through the International Assembly of Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards Congregations (S.H.E.S.). Through her years of studies, she has earned the titles of Mesa Carrier and Pampamesayoq.
First as student and then assistant to her mentor Dr. Mary Blankenship, Alleson’s training and studies have taken her to Peru and Bolivia where she has journeyed extensively; directly sourcing from the masters and different medicine traditions of these cultures. She has personal advanced training with Don Manuel Quispe and Don Jose Luis Herrera in South America and the United States, as well as with numerous masters from different healing traditions throughout the United States, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, and Canada.
Alleson is founder and president of SONQO, where as a trained shamanic practitioner and ceremonialist she provides services that support and enhance personal events for individuals, families, and groups.
